We had a wonderful visit with grandparents! They stayed for 10 days, and we were all so thankful that Tres conquered his very extreme fear of flying to come and see us us. Josh took the week off and we vacationed non stop through the whole of their visit. It's taken a week for me to recover, we're not used to being so busy that long, but it was great! In the next few posts, I will attempt to recapture all the many things we did during their visit.
They arrived very late, and Linc's birthday was the next morning.
Lincoln and Oliver made a very cute welcome sign for Tres and Sherry, since we would all be in bed when they got here, we wanted to make sure that they still felt our excitement for their arrival!
We decorated his room, but he actually wasn't feeling really great. He woke a few times complaining that he was nauseated. I gave him a couple Peptos and sent him back to bed, hoping he'd feel better in the morning, Lucky for all of us , he did.
He was so excited to have grandma and grandpa here for his official birthday. He wanted to play the hot and cold game to find his presents. I had about a million things to get done the night before and so didn't do the greatest job hiding them, so the game was pretty short lived.
This is the present that Oliver picked out for Linc. He however, had a really hard time actually giving it to him, and Lincoln being the great big brother that he is, just let him have it! What a sweet kid!
Lincoln is really into legos right now, and his big present from us was a lego police set. Grandma and grandpa got him this lego robot to go with it, he was thrilled, and did a great job letting Oliver check them out as well.
