We got up early the next day and headed out to start accomplishing all the things on our list of to do's. We made up a list of all of are favorite sights, restaurants, and activities that we wanted to do with Tres and Sherry while they were here. We had a huge list and didn't think we'd get through even half of it, but we thought we'd retry. There is just so much that we love about this place we wanted to squeeze in as much as possible.

We love the barbecue here and every time Sherry comes out she wants to go here. Lincoln not a big fan of the atmosphere though, he says "it seems loud and people don't have enough clothes, plus they always try to give me those fake tattoos." We've never had a single bad experience there, in fact the service has always been excellent and very friendly. It's funny to hear a 6 year old try to put into to words why he doesn't like a place. It really does have a bit of a biker bar feel to it, but greatest barbecue ever.
This is my favorite shot of Tres, isn't his head completely out of proportion. It's not a camera trick, that's just his head. We all had a big laugh. Tres always says, "Ferrin men have big heads to accommodate their huge brains.
Oliver was always right at grandpa's side throughout his visit. Sherry and I thought it was so sweet. Ollie hasn't seen him for 2 years, but they still have a pretty special bond, it warmed my heart. Tres drew the line at taking him to the potty though, Ollie tried at least!
Lincoln thought this car was pretty cool, so grandma took a picture of him by it.
We had a hard time getting the balloon to lift off the ground, Josh was determined though and it finally went up, the boys were thrilled. We were all very impressed with the science museum. We went on a Monday and pretty much had the place to ourselves, which was nice.
This was a neat exhibit to show what the locks do in the canal. It was pretty fun, Lincoln loved steering the boat and Oliver let the water in and out of the locks. Quite the team.

Great little pulley exhibit. The more pulleys the easier it was to lift yourself up. Oliver loved this one!

What a great day. We went non-stop, and everyone was pretty exhausted, this is a hilarious video of Oliver we took when we got home. He's so used to a pretty consistent schedule, but he was such a trooper, not to even get his nap.
