Sherry was nice enough to fly out and help with the move, I truly don't think we could have done it without her, she was such a huge help. Lincoln had a thanksgiving party at his school that we were all able to attend. It was so fun and a nice way for us to kind of say good bye. We played games, made crafts, had some food, and enjoyed the last hurrah at Linc's amazing school!
They played this bingo game, Linc got bingo like five times. Mrs. Gueli said that the bingo game must have known he was moving because he was getting sooo lucky!
THe kids in his class each got to decorate a turkey feather and write the things that they were most thankful for on it. They took down Lincoln's so that he could take it home, and yes, seeing the turkey without his feather made me a bit tearful. A lot of things about moving from here have made me sad, but we are excited for our next adventure. It's all the good byes that are hard.
They made these great turkeys to use as center pieces for Thanksgiving dinner. They were all so funny, I loved the springy legs!
Linc's buddy Liam.
We all had a great time and I'm so glad that Linc had the opportunity to attend this school, even if it was only for a few months. He had some great experiences, met some wonderful people, and had a great first school experience. Good bye to Jefferson Ave School and Mrs. Gueli's morning kindergarten class.
